Fitness is an exciting growth category at Otay Ranch Town Center. As of summer 2018, five fitness retailers are either operating or preparing to open, creating adjacent opportunities for health food and juice bar businesses to tap into their traffic. “Our job is to figure out ... what does the American consumer want,'' said Melinda Holland, our senior vice president of business development, in an interview with The Courier-Journal. "Right now it’s all about fitness and it’s about food and it’s about healthy lifestyle. So that’s the type of retailer that we’re going to try and bring into our shopping centers.’’
